ALL tournaments consist of 7 rounds. 90 minutes per player per game PLUS 30 seconds per move. All events are ECF graded and the Open is also FIDE rated.

SCHEDULE – ALL EVENTS

Friday 30th March – Rounds 1 and 2 at 11:00 am and 4:00 pm
Saturday 31st March  – Rounds 3 and 4 at 11:00 am and 4:00 pm
Sunday 1st April  – Rounds 5 and 6 at 11:00 am and 4:00 pm
Monday 2nd April  – Final Round 7 at 11:00 am 

ESSEX CHAMPIONSHIP 2017-18

The Essex Championship, awarded to the highest placed eligible player in the FIDE Open, was won by IM Richard Pert.
