ESSEX CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Essex Championship, awarded to the highest placed eligible competitor in the FIDE Open, was won by IM Richard Pert (Brentwood).
The Essex Minor Championship awarded to the highest placed eligible player in the FIDE Open graded under 160 was won by Peter Laundy (Basildon).
